Maurice
Gibb, best known as one third of the legendary disco group the Bee
Gees, passed away on January 12, 2003, after suffering a heart
attack. He was 53. As a music lover, I would like to add my
condolences. The Bee Gees were a very special band and although
Barry and Robin have already decided to continue the band, Maurice
will be sorely missed. God bless you for all the wonderful music
over the decades.

Dylan headed back to movie theaters
Bob Dylan
will return to the big screen for his first major film role in 15
years. Dylan has signed to star in a drama tentatively
titled "Masked & Anonymous," in which he would play
Jack Fate, "a wandering troubadour who is brought out of
prison by his former manager for one last concert."
Dylan has agreed to bring his own music to be preformed in the
film, which begins filming in July. A soundtrack featuring
his music is expected to accompany "Masked." It is
not yet known whether Dylan will write original material or use
existing songs. His last major film role was in 1987's
"Heart of Fire."

George
Harrison dies aged 58 from cancer
Bob
Dylan's Remarks about George Harrison
"He was
a giant, a great, great soul, with all of the humanity, all of the
wit and humor, all the wisdom, the spirituality, the common sense
of a man and compassion for people. He inspired love and had the
strength of a hundred men. He was like the sun, the flowers and
the moon and we will miss him enormously. The world is a
profoundly emptier place without him." MAY 22, 2001
